Child Support

Child support is a regular, ongoing payment made by one parent to the other parent to support a child. Child support payments are court-ordered. Courts in Colorado use a formula to calculate child support.

Once a child support order is entered by a court, child support payments can be paid through the Family Support Registry, or FSR without the two parents ever having to talk to each other.  For more information about the Family Support Registry, click here.
